Solvability is a method Sigmafine uses to determine whether it has enough consistent data to solve the calculations needed for data reconciliation.

Possible values for Solvability are the following:

  • NR = Nonredundant: Measurement that cannot be validated against other measurements in the model.
  • NS = Nonsolvable: Unmeasured flow cannot be calculated.
  • R = Redundant: Measurement that can be validated against other measurements in the model
  • S = Solvable: Unmeasured flow that can be calculated.
